The Altar Rosary Society was established at St. Mary, Mother of God Parish in February 1936. It was organized on Oct. 7, 1937. Ladies and men of the parish who are in good standing with the rules of the Catholic Church may join.
The society meets on the first Wednesday following the First Sunday of each month.
The society promotes the devotion to the Blessed Mother, queen of the holy rosary, as well as provides financially for the care of the altar and sanctuary. They also purchase flowers to be used during the solemnities of the church.
